A sosit timpul să vă povestesc despre două farduri pe care eu mi le-am dorit foarte, foarte mult și pe care nu speram că le voi avea prea curând. V-am povestit despre ele în tag-ul ”Beauty Bucket List” - este vorba despre Maybelline Color Tattoo 24H.
La început de an 2012 vuia Youtube-ul de părerile bloggerițelor din State despre acest produs, toată lumea era încântată, toată lumea lăuda aceste farduri și le compara cu vestitele Paint Pot-uri de la MAC. Bineînțeles că și eu mi le-am dorit!
Când am auzit că au ajuns și în Europa, mai precis în Marea Britanie, am tot scâncit pe lângă tata să roage o cunoștință să-mi cumpere și mie măcar un fard, să am acolo, de semn. După ce i-am făcut capul calendar, dorința mea arzătoare mi s-a îndeplinit și mi s-au cumpărat mult-doritele farduri.
It is time to share with you my opinions regarding two eyeshadows that I have been wanting very, very much and which I did not hope to have them very soon. I have been telling you about them in the
”Beauty Bucket List” tag - the Maybelline's Color Tattoo 24H eyeshadows.
At the beginning of 2012, the Youtube channel was full of reviews for these products, many beauty bloggers from United Stated were so excited about them, everybody loved their quality and compared them with the famous MAC's Paint Pots. Of course, I had to have them!
When I've heard that these gorgeous eyeshadows arrived in Europe, in UK to be more specific, I wept to my dad to ask an acquaintance to buy me even one eyeshadow, you know, not to die before I'll try it. Once I made his head spinning from so many inquires, my most ardent desire came true and those gorgeous eyeshadows were bought for me.
Nuanțele pe care eu le am sunt 05 - Eternal Gold și 20 - Turquoise Forever, acestea corespund cu nuanțele Bold Gold și respectiv, Tenacious Teal din State.
The shadows that I've got are in 05 - Eternal Gold and 20 - Turquoise Forever, these are the equivalent of the Bold Gold and Tenacious Teal from United States.
Fardul 05 - Eternal Gold este un auriu superb și are în compoziție particule de sclipici.

Fardul 20 - Turquoise Forever este un albastru intens și are la fel în compoziție particule de sclipici, dar mai puțin vizibile decât în cazul fardului auriu.
The shade 20 - Turquoise Forever is an intense blue and has small glitter particles, these particles are not so visible as in the case of the shade Eternal Gold.
După atâtea laude pe care le-am auzit din partea bloggerițelor din întreaga lume, am început să le testez să văd dacă într-adevăr sunt atât de minunate.
Eu am aceste farduri din luna mai, așadar am avut timp berechet să-mi fac o idee.
Ambalajul este unul practic, de tip borcănel, iar cantitatea care se găsește înăuntru este mai mult decât rezonabilă. Personal nu știu dacă voi reuși să termin cele două farduri prea curând.

Consistența este una cremoasă, ușor de întins pe pleoapă și cu degetele și cu pensula.
Mi s-au părut mai greu de ”amestecat/blenduit” cu pensula, mie mi se pare că merg mai ușor amestecate cu degetele. Trebuie să vă spun că eu nu am fost o mare fană a fardurilor cremă și asta pentru că tind să am pleoapele ”boțite”, (zău dacă găsesc un termen în română acum!) denumirea în engleză e ”hooded” și cu fardurile tip cremă se evidențiază și mai mult, dar Maybelline Color Tattoo mi-au plăcut la nebunie.
Culorile sunt pigmentate și se pot construi ușor pe pleoapă de la o intensitate a culorii mai mică, la una mai mare.
Rezistența lor variază. Spre exemplu, fardul albastru a rezistat cu brio și fără primer și cu primer până la 8-9 ore pe pleoapele mele, nu am văzut diferența. Nu s-a întâmplat să mi se întindă, sau să se strângă în pliul pleoapei. În schimb, fardul auriu, deși arată foarte bine, după 2-3 ore își pierde din intensitate, dacă este aplicat pe toată pleoapa. Mie mi s-a întins după orele amintite, iar în mijlocul pleoapei aproape că nu se vedea nimic. La fel am pățit și după ce am aplicat primer înainte. Am observat însă că, în combinație cu alte farduri nu mai întâmpin această problemă.
Așadar, eu recomand folosirea acestor farduri în combinație cu altele, fie cremă dacă aveți, fie farduri praf/pulbere, arată mai bine în astfel de formule decât individual (deși fardul albastru arată foarte bine și singur, trebuie avut grijă doar la blending!).
La demachiere am observat că nu s-au pus probleme, dar se poate să rămâneți cu surprize sclipicioase din când în când (cel auriu!).
Trebuie să vă spun că aceste farduri încă nu se găsesc la noi în țară, vi le puteți procura fie de pe E-bay, deși transportul costă enorm, sau dacă aveți prieteni în UK îi puteți ruga să vi le cumpere de acolo. În UK se găsesc în orice farmacie sau în magazinele Boots, prețul lor variază între 5 și 6 lire.
After so many good things that I've heard from beauty bloggers all around the world, I began to test them to see if they are really so great.
I've received these eyeshadows in May so I had plenty of time to test them and to make myself an impression.
The packaging is a practical one, jar type and the quantity inside is more than reasonable. Personally I do not know if I'll manage to finish the two eyeshadows soon.

The consistency is a creamy one, or gel-cream as it is called, easy to apply on the eyelid with your fingers or with a brush.
I found it a little harder to blend with a brush, it seems to me that using your fingers is easely to blend the color in this case. I must say that I was not a big fan of cream eyeshadows and that's because I have hooded eyelids and this type of cream eyeshadows stand this fact more, but I just loved Maybelline Color Tattoo, it was an exception.
The colors are pigmented and easy to build on the lid from a lower color depth, to a larger one.
Their resistance varies. For example, the blue eyeshadow resisted successfully on my lids with and without primer up to 8-9 hours, I could not see the difference. It did not happen to smudge all over or to crease. Instead, the golden eyeshadow, although looks great, after 2-3 hours loses its intensity, if it's applied all over the eyelid. After the mentioned hours, it smudged all over and in the middle of my eyelid you can hardly see anything. The same thing happened after I applied primer before. I noticed, however, that, in combination with other eyeshadows, I did not experience this problem.
So, I recommend you to use these eyeshadows in combination with others, gel-cream if you have or powder eyeshadows, they look better in these formulas than individually (although the blue eyeshadow looks great alone, but you should take care at the blending aspect!).
At cleansing, I noticed that I had no problems, but you may remain with a glittery surprise from time to time (the gold one!).
I must say that these eyeshadows are still not to be found in my country, you can get them on E-bay although the shipping costs are enormous, or if you have friends in the UK, you can ask them to buy these eyeshadows for you. You can find them in UK at any drugstore or at Boots stores, their price range is between 5 and 6 pounds.
Am tot auzit că acestor farduri în varianta lor europeană li s-ar fi schimbat consistența și sunt mai slabe din punct de vedere calitativ decât varianta americană. Neavând la îndemână și cealaltă variantă, nu pot să mă pronunț. De asemenea, nu pot face o comparație clară nici cu Paint Pot-urile de la MAC, deoarece nu dețin niciun produs MAC de acest gen.
Mie aceste farduri mi-au lăsat o impresie foarte bună, vi le recomand cu căldură și vouă dacă vă plac fardurile cremă, și chiar dacă nu vă plac, eu zic să le dați o șansă.
Eu, una, sper să am ocazia să încerc și alte nuanțe pe viitor.
I've heard that the consistency of these eyeshadows in their European version would have been changed and they are not so qualitative as the American version. I do not have an American version of these eyeshadows, so I do not know what so say. Also, I can not make a clear comparison with the famous MAC's Paint Pots, because I do not have any MAC product of this kind.
I loved these eyeshadows, they made me a good impression, I recommend them to you if you like cream/gel eyeshadows, and even if you don't love these types of eyeshadows, you should give them a chance.
Personally, I hope to have the chance to try more shades in the future.
